TA Virtual Q&A Session
The Negotiating Committee wrapped up TA Roadshows on Wednesday after three weeks of virtual roadshows and in-person roadshows in SEA, LAX, SNA, SAN, SFO, PDX, and ANC. Thank you to everyone who participated and asked questions to be able to make an informed decision while voting!
You may watch recordings of the virtual roadshows and Q&A at your convenience. Additionally, you can review a compilation of TA FAQs. The Negotiating Committee scheduled an additional TA virtual Q&A session to answer any outstanding questions. The Q&A will start at 11 AM PT on August 6th.

APFA Tentative Agreement

Congratulations to American Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by APFA, on recently reaching a Tentative Agreement. Their Negotiating Committee presented the TA to the APFA Executive Board, who voted to release the TA for ratification vote. We prepared the following comparison between the APFA TA and our TA. Both TAs bring significant improvements to the pay and work rules of their respective groups. Below is a comparison of pay rates, 401k match, and per diem. Additional information will be published as soon as possible. Our Industry Comparison page on the Contract Website compares both TAs with the rest of the industry.
TA Vote Percentage Update

As of today, 13.8% of eligible Alaska Flight Attendants have voted on the Tentative Agreement. Voting closes on August 14th at 12 PM PT.
Department of Justice Merger Decision Update

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced early this morning that they reached an agreement with Hawaiian and Alaska managements to extend the merger review process 10 days until August 15th.
TA Ratification in Context of Delayed Merger Decision

The MEC and Negotiating Committee met this morning to discuss the delayed Department of Justice (DOJ) merger decision prior to our final Tentative Agreement (TA) roadshow. The MEC explored the possible impact on the TA voting timeline and unanimously agreed not to extend the ratification vote. Please ensure you vote by noon Pacific Time on August 14th.
