Tentative Agreements for comparable Flight Attendant groups are not usually reached this close to each other, so we prepared the following to compare between the APFA TA and our TA. Both TAs bring significant improvements to pay and work rules, thereby elevating the industry.

Annual Increases to Pay Scale:
AFA Alaska – 3% on DOR +1 and 3% on DOR +2
APFA – 2.75% on DOR +1, 3% on DOR +2, 3% on DOR +3, 3.5% on DOR +4
Boarding Pay:
Like us, APFA chose to secure improvements to the base pay rates while also achieving boarding pay (compared to TWU 556 at Southwest, who focused solely on raising the base rates).
Retirement Match
Our retirement match increases to 8% on DOR and 8.5% on DOR + 2.
APFA retirement total increases to 9% on DOR.
Per Diem
Our per diem increases to $2.75 on DOR, $2.80 on DOR + 1, and $2.85 on DOR + 2.
APFA per diem increases to $2.85 on DOR and an additional .05 cents every year of the deal.
Duration
Our duration is 3 years with a one-year early opener.
APFA has a duration of 5 years.
