Our Negotiating Committee is currently cleaning up the full-text language of the TA for your review, but you can check out the TA Summary now on the negotiations website at contract2022.afaalaska.org/TA. The compensation table reflects the new TFP rates and contract anniversary raises, but it does not reflect all of the ways our pay would increase under the TA. For example, boarding pay is also included in the TA along with many other pay factors. We encourage you to dive into the full summary now and full text once it’s available. Join us at an upcoming Roadshow (schedule posted on the TA page of the negotiations website) for a chance to discuss and ask questions about the agreement.

Tracey Thompson says
Absolutley ALL TFP needs to count towards the annual 480 TFP including vacation, sick leave and boarding pay. Please simplify this! I shouldn’t have to work an extra five weeks of hard time to make up for the five weeks of vacation just to earn my vacation for the following year! Also, ALL boarding pay needs to be worth at least .5 TFP to match what we get for pre-boarding! Boarding is the busiest and most critical part of our day in “Owning Safety”. Thanks, Tracey

Very, very disappointing. That a no vote for me.
Janine Montoya says
Per diem should increase to $4/hr. Food in airports and layover cities has easily doubled. The suggested .25/hr increase will be a whopping $25/mo approximate average for each of us. That hardly a dent compared to increased food costs. In 2016 per diem was $2.50. How does $2.75 make any sense in 2024?
Kim says
Hello, sorry if I sound ignorant, but where is the step raise info?
Brian Palmer (MEC Vice President) says
You can find the TA pay rates on pages 6 and 7 of the TA Summary booklet.
Marilyn Cook-Gendron says
Timeline for Retro should be equivalent to Pilot’s agreement and no less than the original date of expiration for last contract. The message needs to be clear to Corporate, end “delays and stall” tactics, begin negotiations. Corporate don’t want “delays” nor do we , the labor groups. . .RESPECT.
Full Retro Pay from this day forward. Do not be undervalued. Please use your voices for what you deserve and what you need now!
LUIS GIRALDO says
No enough retroactive pay
