This week, our Negotiating Committee and management have been finalizing the language of the Agreement in Concept (AIC) reached last week. The Negotiating Committee expects to present the final text document to our Master Executive Council next week. The voting members of the MEC will then decide whether to release the agreement as TA2 for membership ratification.
If approved by the MEC, the Negotiating Committee will prepare a timeline for publication of the full-text document and supplementary resources for Member review. We will also present to LEC Officers, MEC Committee Chairpersons, and Mobilization Committee Chairpersons to ensure everyone is prepared to answer questions about TA2.
Once these steps are complete, TA2 will be released for membership review and ratification vote. Expect additional information next week.

I understand you all have worked hard, and yet are well compensated. Im thankful AFA is solvent.
As this is my 5 th contract experience, it is my hope to have hard copies of the TA2 (so that I’m able to write foot notes) including more meetings available (it’s difficult to be noticed watching a video). These tool will help my generation greatly to make a fair decision.
