- The new state sick bank will be implemented May 1, 2025
- Your CBA bank will be the default bank for sick calls unless otherwise stated when calling Crew Scheduling
- The Sick Leave & Attendance video and Sick Leave Usage Flow Chart resources are available below
As of May 1, 2025, the contractual state bank will be implemented for immediate use. A maximum of 40 TFP from your existing sick leave bank will automatically transfer to your state bank leaving the remaining balance in your CBA bank. If you have less than 40 TFP available at the date of implementation, your entire balance will be transferred to the state bank and fully protected from attendance points.
Starting May 1, when calling Crew Scheduling, if you do not designate a bank the sick call will be deducted from your CBA bank by default. If you would like to change banks, you are able to do so before the end of your next worked sequence. Review Section 16 of the contract for the full provision information.
Due to programming, for the first two weeks after implementation your state bank balance will not be visible on Rainmaker. After payroll is processed for the April 20 paychecks, the balance for both sick banks (CBA and state) will be available on Rainmaker.
