New survey for all Alaska Flight Attendants launches on Tuesday, March 26 at 12 PM PT
Our Negotiating Committee is done trying to get management to understand the immensity of suffering faced by Alaska Airlines Flight Attendants, while they continue to bury their heads in the sand to drown out our concerns. It’s time to compile the cold, hard facts about our reality!
The outcry from our Members does not fall on deaf ears within our Union. Our Negotiating Committee needs all Members to fill out the survey to deliver a clear picture to management and the mediator.
Note: The survey is being conducted by AFA International and data will be anonymized.
Watch your email inbox for the survey link on Tuesday, March 26. The link will be a generic link that’s shareable with other Flight Attendants. Each person will use their Peoplesoft and Arctic numbers to authenticate access.
Talk to your flying partners and make sure they’re signed up for AFA emails at https://afanewsletters.org/subscribe/ and AFA text messages at https://actionnetwork.org/forms/afa-alaska-text.

Metro Seattle/Tacoma area costs to live comfortably are listed at around $66,000/yr. That’s how much net income you would have to be making for a single person to live comfortably. This is according to a MIT calculator that was developed. Good article. Helps you understand why you have the feeling that despite working a full time job, you just can’t get ahead.
