Q: If you call out and use your state sick bank during a verification period, but weren’t able provide verification within the 10 day requirement, are we subject to disciplinary actions?
If you call out and designate state bank, and are unable to provide verification (for an absence of 4 or more consecutive workdays), you have two options:
- Have your sick call be converted to a management drop with points – which will be covered by bank points or removed through quarterly or year-end record improvement, or the 18-month roll off
- Change your designation to CBA bank prior to the end of your next sequence, and you will not be subject to verification requirements
