Q: If the TA doesn’t pass, can all sections be opened and negotiated for the second TA? Is it possible to lose some of the gains?
Management did not secure most of their objectives in these negotiations. They wanted to increase 480, duty day, increase the 4k flying to 5k or 4.5k flying. They had other goals in scheduling to increase productivity. If we go back to negotiate another TA, their position will most likely be that any new gain must be offset by some concession. That is absolutely a concern, but one never knows what will happen in negotiations.
We would focus on what Flight Attendants want fixed, and management would try and capture some of their objectives that they did not achieve.
