Q: How do we know if the company knew of cancellation within the timeline described in 8.R.1?
If the Company becomes aware that a flight following a RON is delayed by one hour or more, they will advise the Flight Attendant before they depart the arrival airport or within two hours of block in.
If the Company fails to notify, and has knowledge of the delay within this timeline, the Flight Attendant will be paid 2.5x rate for the entire sequence.
If the Flight Attendant believes the Company was aware of the delay and failed to notify as required, they should submit this information through the Association’s Online Support Center for resolution.
