Because AFA Representatives don’t administer or moderate third-party Facebook groups or pages, there’s no way to verify the accuracy and objectivity of the information posted there. Seeking feedback or asking questions on third-party groups or pages may result in responses that, though usually well intentioned, may be based solely on an individual experience or a personal opinion and are not necessarily current or contractually accurate.
Note: There is only one official AFA Alaska presence on Facebook–the AFA Alaska Facebook page. Some Local Councils also maintain pages or groups for their Members as well. Any other groups or pages are operated by third parties and not sponsored or endorsed by AFA.
Personal Social Media Accounts
AFA Representatives are ready to engage on AFA Official Social Media channels! Messages or comments that are sent to personal accounts of AFA Representatives, however, may get lost or might not be reviewed regularly. To ensure that your comment or question gets prompt attention, please send it in through AFA Official Social Media channels instead of to personal accounts.

Emails that are sent using an @alaskaair.com email address or sent to your company Outlook account are communications that are written by management. AFA will never send official communications to you using the company’s Outlook email platform.
