AFA “Contract Now” Lanyards Are Here!

February 13, 2024 by Negotiating Committee

  • AFA Contract Now lanyards will be available from our Mobilization Volunteers and LEC Officers.
  • Wear them as a show of solidarity with your flying partners and our Negotiating Committee in our fight for an industry leading contract.
  • Report all supervisor interference with our solidarity activities by filling out a Management Interference Report on the Contract 2022 website or by using the QR code below.

Today, at the Worldwide Flight Attendant Day of Action picketing events, we introduced bright red AFA Contract Now lanyards to bring even more visibility to our fight for an industry-leading contract. You can get your hands on these lanyards right away from our Mobilization Volunteers and LEC Officers. Be on the lookout for updates from your Local Council about when and where our Mobilization Volunteers will be available at an airport near you.

Show Solidarity By Wearing Your Lanyard

Are you ready for an industry-leading contract? Are you tired of working unpaid? Wear your AFA Contract Now lanyard to make it clear to management that we stand in unity and are NOT backing down! Send us selfies with your crew and use the hashtags #AlaskaFAContract #ContractNow and tag @afaalaska. Remember to keep wearing your red AFA pin and displaying your red AFA bag tags on your luggage every time you fly.

Report Any Instances Of Management Interference

AFA believes that your right to wear a Union lanyard is protected by the Railway Labor Act. However, if you are directed by a supervisor to remove the lanyard, we recommend that you do so because we don’t want you to be disciplined. Please then fill out the Management Interference Report form.

To access the form, click here or scan the QR code here. Let’s work together and ensure our rights are protected.
