Our Negotiations Survey Is Now Open

August 3, 2022 by MEC Communications Committee

The survey is open now and will close on Friday, August 19th at 12 PM (noon) Pacific Time.

As we prepare for upcoming contract negotiations, we ask that you take the time to complete this survey.  Your participation is very important because your responses will be used by your AFA Negotiating Committee to develop the strategy and priorities/objectives for bargaining. We need to know your priorities, so the time you spend in completing the survey will make a difference in shaping our collective future as Alaska Airlines Flight Attendants.

When you click on the survey link, you’ll be taken to a login page.   You will be asked to enter both your Arctic and Peoplesoft numbers to verify that only current Alaska Flight Attendants are taking the survey.  Your Arctic number is listed as the ID # and your Peoplesoft number is listed at the PS # on your badge (see example at right).

Once verified, your personal identification is removed. All responses are strictly confidential, and no individual can be tied to any of the answers.

Any survey question may be skipped.  However, for questions that ask you to rank choices, once you begin ranking choices you must finish the ranking before you can proceed with the remainder of the survey.  If you have started or completed a ranking question but you decide to skip it at the time or later (prior to submitting the survey), then you can go back and de-select each item in the ranking by clicking on it.

You may leave the survey and finish it later. To log out, simply close your browser.  When you’re ready to start again, click the link and re-verify your credentials (Arctic # & PeopleSoft #) to return to your in-progress survey. When you log back in, you may see a second (i.e., duplicated) login page; if that happens, please re-enter your credentials one more time. Once you’ve logged in again, you will be forwarded to the last page you submitted.

You may complete the survey only once. After you have finished the survey by pressing the “Submit” button (on desktop) or the forward button (on mobile) at the bottom of the page that includes question #51, you will not be able to go back and change your responses.

If your survey was previously completed, you will be forwarded to the survey “Thank You” page.

This survey provides each of you the chance to be heard.  Let’s encourage one another to participate.  Thank you for your input as we prepare for Contract 2022!
