- We tentatively agreed to Sections 8: Hours of Service, 10.A-Q: Scheduling, 15: Leaves of Absence, 27: General Association, and three LOAs, increasing the total to 32 out of 45 sections.
- Of the remaining sections, 5 are being discussed, 5 are currently tabled, and 3 remain.
- The next negotiation session is April 18-20.
Negotiations Update
Substantial progress was made this week when our Negotiating Committee and Mobilization Committee Chairperson met with management for Negotiation Session 12. *Our Negotiating Committee is supported during this process by AFA International Collective Bargaining and Legal departments. We reached several additional agreements by building on last session’s tentative agreements addressing Paid Sick Leave provisions and state laws (communicated here and here).
Our Negotiating Committee will continue advocating for contractual improvements in future sessions. The next update will publish after Negotiation Session 13, scheduled for April 18-20.
